Democrats want to target different sectors of the economy to achieve their social engineering goals.  Any economist of any intelligence (this means no Marxists) knows that it is impossible for any person or government to pick and choose which sectors of an economy will be affected by any particular fiscal policy.

There are thousands of factors at play, and it is impossible to to isolate specific factors to effect the desired change on the target populations.

For example, the government is not able to effectively target research projects for technologies that will be successful in reducing our dependence on foreign oil.  There are existing private research projects for the same technologies, but they are not heavily funded with private money.

Important note: Private enterprise will NOT aggressively fund research that has little to no potential over a five to ten year period. If private enterprise will not commit money to a loser, why should the Federal Government?

Another important note: Manhattan Project style funding for energy projects does nothing to overcome basic laws of physics, or make a technology economically feasible.

The Manhattan Project was a success because scientists had already figured out nuclear fission. They just weren’t sure they could manufacture enough nuclear fuel to make it work.  Government stepped in and delivered massive funding to overcome a lack in facilities and manpower to do the work.

So, why do so many government bureaucrats and socialists think they can change the world’s energy picture just with the application of money?  The answer is really simple.  They don’t understand the basics of physics or economics.

For the same reasons, the Obama Administration cannot substantially change the nation’s jobs picture by targeting massive amounts of spending.  The jobs created by Obama’s stimulus plan are mainly government jobs, which will have to be funded by additional taxes after the stimulus money is gone.  That’s a fool’s game.

Even targeting small businesses will not necessarily increase job creation in the economy.  Nobody can know which business sizes, or what part of their business, will be affected by the targeted stimulus programs.  That’s why a general tax cut is always a good idea.

A general tax cut will make huge amounts of money available, INSTANTLY, to millions of businesses, consumers, and entrepreneurs.

Because we don’t know which entrepreneurs or small businesses will make the most difference, the smart move is to cut taxes for EVERYBODY!

That’s why targeted tax cuts and targeted stimulus spending is a fool’s game.

Obama and his socialist trained economists haven’t figured out that they cannot effectively or efficiently target economic progress.  It never has worked.

That’s why Obama is playing a fool’s game.

Nineteen months into the Obama Administration, even Time Magazine is recognizing that Obama has lost his popularity.  Glaringly missing from the Time article is the admission that absolutely none of Obama’s policies, programs, or leadership moves have worked.

None!  Nada!  Zip! Please follow the previous link for an excellent article by Keith Hennessey documenting the Obama economy.

Just last week, our Loser in Chief announced that the US combat phase in Iraq was over. Immediately, the Al Queda insurgents started actions they have been planning since Obama was elected to office and promised to be out of Iraq by a certain date.  Their patience is payng off.

Barack Obama has no clue what it means to be Commander in Chief of the armed forces of the most powerful nation on earth.  By announcing politically motivated withdrawal dates, this Humpty-Dumpty President guarantees more lost lives of American and Iraqi soldiers and civilians.

When Obama came into office, the war in Iraq was his to lose.  The unchallenged triumph of George W. Bush’s hard work, and the blood and honor of our military is at stake.

Unfortunately, it appears that Barack Obama is dead earnest in pursuing his cut-and-run policies.  The long term security of our nation does not mean much in his political calculus.

How ’bout them apples?

A few months ago, my answer for the above question would have been, “Who cares?”

About one American out of five care.  According to the latest polls they think that Barack Hussein really is a Muslim.

Are 20% of the American people right in thinking Obama is Muslim?  It doesn’t matter whether they are correct or not.  As long as they think he is Muslim, Obama will always be a Muslim for that group of people.

Why would anyone think Obama is a Muslim?  Well, for one thing a critical part of his upbringing was in Muslim households and partly in a Muslim country.

Barack Obama has been seen in photographs bowing to the King of Saudi Arabia and other Muslim leaders.  Does that mean he is Muslim or does that mean that he harbors a deep seated favoritism for Muslims?

Then we have to take into account Obama’s forgiving attitude toward Muslim terrorists.  His defense of Muslim terrorists is almost criminal in and of itself.

Lastly, we have Obama’s proclamation of support for the siting of a mosque in the ground zero neighborhood.  He tried crawfishing on this one, but nobody intelligent is buying it.

If all the above behavior does not indicate a strong support for Muslims, nothing does.

Do all these things mean Obama is a Muslim?  I don’t think so.

We all have read the news accounts of Mexico’s drug cartels invading the border regions of several of our states, Arizona being the most abused.

Things are so bad that the cartels have established forward fire bases (camps) within the US where they can coordinate their illegal trades of smuggling drugs and people.

Smuggling drugs and people go together, since the drug thugs use the people  to carry the drugs.

In a panic response to the huge outcry from the American public about the lack of action from the Obama Administration, the Democrat Congress has passed a 600 million dollar piece of legislation to “secure the border”.

The lackluster, but expensive bill will fund the addition of 1,000 additional border agents and a lot of high tech hardware.  This is not even one agent per mile of the border.

We still need large contingents of National Guard troops to GUARD the border.  The new agents will only arrest a few thugs after the border has been breached and the harm done.

The Democrat goal is clear.  They want to grant amnesty to the illegal aliens in the hope of getting all those millions of extra votes so that they can rape the US Treasury even more.  The Demos anticipate huge returns from this kind of brain dead action.

This morning Janet Napolitano, Secretary of Homeland Security, announced the signing of the bill and bragged about how the Administration is solving the problems along the Southwest border.  If  there were ever a feminine empty suit, she is the one.

Agents will be hired, people will die, and nothing will get better in our southern border regions.  Fear will continue to rule.

It seems that everyday, somebody is charging someone else with being racist.  It happens so often that I am beginning to think that a lot of these people haven’t looked up the definition of racism.  Allow me to quote from Wikiepedia.

Racism is the belief that the genetic factors which constitute race are a primary determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race.^[1] Racism’s effects are called “racial discrimination.” In the case of institutional racism, certain racial groups may be denied rights or benefits, or receive preferential treatment.

Everybody knows that Wikipedia cannot be trusted, but I have elected to use their definition for my purposes.  I believe that racism can be confused with dislike of individuals, or even bias and prejudice in everyday social decisions.  I don’t believe that all bias and prejudice is derived from racism, even though people of different races may be involved in a situation.

I am biased against stupid people, people who smell bad, people who chain smoke, people who are drunk, and people who make loud noises through their bodily orifices.  You might even say that I am prejudiced against these people, even if they are a different color than I, or if they are from a different country, state, city, or neighborhood.  There are some people I will avoid.

Still, there are people against whom I harbor extreme prejudice, and am capable of wishing them ill tidings and bad will from the rest of the world.  I can’t always tell you who these people are, but you know them when you see them.  Henry Waxman, Barney “Rubble” Frank, and Chris Dodd fall in this group because they have contributed to the destruction of what little wealth I have managed to accumulate in a lifetime of work and saving.

I don’t like rap music, any kind of hispanic music, and I literally hate mariachi bands.  Come to think of it, I don’t like music much, anyway.  I don’t like any culture where I don’t feel comfortable.  None of this makes me racist

When you hear someone call someone else racist, you need to question them closely as to what they mean, and why they think the way they do.  Chances are, you will find the accuser basing their opinions on their own limitations and racist attitudes.

This is serious.

Financial Ruin will be good for the country.

Our Big Baby Barack Obama, Leader for Life, just announced he will sign the Democrat Financial Ruin Bill talked about so much in recent press articles.

So what’s wrong with making more regulation for banks and financial institutions?  My answer is that there are laws on the books, now, that would prevent pretty much any of our financial problems.  The Federal Government is just not doing its job.

The major problem with the Democrat’s Financial Ruin Bill is that it does not address the fundamental problem of the Federal Government’s mismanagement.

The fundamental problem with the government is Freddi Mac and Fannie Mae, government sponsored entities that packaged the bad mortgages into investment instruments and caused the recent world-wide meltdown of the world’s financial system.

Yep!  The Feds set up the whole thing, and will not admit this problem, and the Democrats refuse to correct this problem they initiated years ago.

I am tired of blaming everything on the Democrats, but they are so inept at finance, economics, science, and just about every other subject that it’s hard to NOT blame them.  In this case generalization is a accurate method of assessing culpability.

It’s too bad my head just exploded, because I really need to throw up!

The State of Pennsylvania is being funded by $160 million of federal taxpayer money to fund abortions under the states high risk program.  The State of New Mexico is being given $37 Million for the same kind of program.

So, just where does this leave Stupid Bart Stupak, the Democrat Congressman who got profuse promises from Barack Obama, personally, and an executive order that the Federal Government would not fund abortions.

I don’t remember a program about which Barack Obama did NOT LIE!

The Obama Administration is a resounding failure.

How many times will I have an opportunity, or even a duty to say that in the coming months?

There is almost too much stuff out there to comment on nowadays.  Barack Obama has given the blogging world so much material with his goofy decisions and policies that one would have to blog full time keep up.

First, there is the Obama Recession.  The dude  has turned a bad recession  into the worst since the Great Depression.  Even Democrats are calling it the Great Recession.

Then, there is the Obama Health-care plan.  Now that the real numbers are coming out, we learn that it will be worse than feared.  The man lied to the American public like a machine.

Don’t forget the New Black Panther Scandal.  Who, but a racist administration, would dismiss the most obvious case of voter intimidation in recorded history?

How about suing the State of Arizona for trying to comply with Federal Law?  This is a no-brainer, but the Obama Administration will find a corrupt Federal Judge to sway it their way.  That’s my prediction.

Oh! Don’t forget about NASA’s new mission – reaching out to Muslims to make them feel good about themselves.  How sweet is that?

Have a nice day, and don’t forget to check Fox News every half-hour.  You never know when Obama will do something sensible, like resign.

We have a whistle blower. A senior attorney in the Department of Justice, and a lead attorney in the prosecution of the New Black Panther’s intimidating presence at a Philadelphia voting poll has resigned in protest of the dropping of the case, even though the case had already been won.  Nothing remained except for deciding the punishment of the evil doers.

See the YouTube video, below, taken by a University of Pennsylvania student of the actual incident.  The Black Panther dudes were not Jehovah’s Witnesses or Mormons out to convert you to their brand of worship.  They were there to intimidate poll workers from challenging the legitimacy of thousands of illegal voters registered by the Democrats favorite stooge organization, ACORN.

One of the charges against the Department of Justice is that there is an internal, non-published policy of NOT prosecuting cases where the victims are white.  How does this happen?

This happens when the President of The United States has befriended, and belonged to a black supremacist church for 25 years.  Barack Hussein Obama’s past and subsequent influences are now showing themselves, and it’s not pretty.

Opponents of Obama were belittled for observing that he has a Muslim background, and was likely to prejudice US policy towards leniency to Muslim terrorists.  Barack Obama’s bowing and kissing up to terrorist leaders, and trying to shut down the Guantanamo detention facility bear witness to his bankrupt, Muslim leanings.

It became obvious in the campaign that Obama was using the language and reasoning of the discredited Marxist movement which has failed, or is failing, in ALL of its host countries.  Socialism is just a cousin of Marxism, and the source of Obama’s swooning love for socialism is probably his Ivy League education.

Prior to his election, Obama made the statement that he would bankrupt coal companies. Liberals tried to laugh it off as a remark of the moment.  Now, we know that Barack Obama meant what he said, and he is ignorant enough to follow through with his threats.

Now, we have a Racist, Marxist, Extreme Environmentalist President, and the nation is in huge trouble.  Everything Obama believes in is either anti-American or injurious to our freedoms and economic health of our great nation.

Read the Pajamas Media article written by J. Christopher Adams, the bravest whistle blower in US history.  He is braving the onslaught of the Democrat, liberal media slime machine for telling the truth.  The Department of Justice is trashing Mr. Adams, but the truth will eventually come out.
